Numbers with Wil: QUESTIONS FROM THE ROAD

While on the road, we get tons of great questions, many of which can be answered in part by- you guessed it- NUMBERS! Today’s theme was inspired by you: QUESTIONS FROM THE ROAD! Q: Do you guys do interviews? If so, where? A: We currently offer interviews in 18 areas: Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, Washington D.C., the states of Colorado, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming, as well as Ireland and the UK.  Interviews are completely optional and, even if offered one, are not required to participate- it will never hurt you to decline. If you are offered one, be yourself, be comfortable and, most of all, have fun. For more information check out this FAQ. Q: What do you do at Stanford to help with job placement after graduation? A: Even before you graduate, the Career Development Center has listings for on-campus jobs, over 10,000 jobs and internships as well as information on grants, fellowships, and departmental opportunities.  They also bring jobs to you- there are 16 on-campus job fairs this year alone.  Whether you need help finding a career path or tailoring a resume to help land your dream job, Stanford is a great place to get the ball rolling.   Q: How many states have you been to so far? A: I’m not quite sure what this had to do with admission, but working with students specifically, I’ve been to 10 states in the last 6 months.  TSA and I are best friends.         You’ve got questions?  We have answers.
