New Friends From Japan!

Every year, the Stanford Japan Exchange Club brings a handful of students from Japan to visit Stanford for thirty days. The club pairs the Japanese students with Stanford students who host them for 10 days each, so that each Japanese student gets to stay with three Stanford hosts during their time here.

Rainy Day at Stanford

Rainy Day at Stanford

Contrary to popular belief, Stanford is not eternally sunny and warm, though I think many students wish it were. Today is the stormiest day we’ve had all year, in my completely subjective opinion. The wind was trying to steal my umbrella all day, and almost succeeded. I’ve experienced many rainy days at Stanford, and while it is never very fun to sit in class while soaking wet, I have a few tips that might help you avoid the rain on your way to class.
