As a transfer student at Stanford University, my living situation varies slightly from the freshmen students. While freshmen are typically placed in an all-freshmen dorm for their first year, where I get to live depends primarily on my age: transfer students ages 24 and older are usually placed in graduate housing, while the rest of us are placed in Kimball Hall. The transfer application deadline is Saturday, March 15. The Common Application, Stanford Writing Supplement, and application fee or fee waiver request must be submitted online by 11:59 pm (Pacific time) on the deadline. For mailed materials, the date is a postmark deadline. For more information, please review our Transfer Application Instructions.
